Pale 31 was one of our most award-winning beers, earning multiple GABF and World Beer Cup accolades. It rotated out of our regular production in 2018, but that didn’t mean that clear, deep gold topped with white foam was going away forever. We are bringing Pale 31 back for a very limited run, but with a catch: you have to be in the Brewmaster’s Collective to get your hands on a four-pack.
“We brewed this edition very closely to the original Pale 31,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “Including blending in a bit of Union Jack IPA, one of our tricks from that founding recipe. However, we also updated the dry hopping a bit to increase and modernize the hop aroma. This is a beer that stays very true in flavor and body to the original but with some fresh aromatic twists.”
Pale 31 is a classic California pale ale that features a light body and golden color from a blend of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts. A balanced hop profile featuring the classic Centennial hop now brings in the more modern varieties El Dorado and Mosaic, adding layers of fruity complexity. This club-exclusive release is very limited. Each member may purchase one additional 4-pack online or at one of our three retail locations now.
