Our friends down at Monkish in Torrance are well known for their exceptionally delicious NEIPAs so we decided to have them over to brew a special DDH oat pale ale just in time for the 2022 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival. We combined our typical approaches to the style and then lowered the ABV to 5.7% while keeping the hops at a proper DDH level to preserve all the juicy goodness you expect in a pale ale worthy of drinking by the pint. Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Centennial, and Galaxy hops come together for a complex profile displaying a spectrum of tropical, citrus, and stone fruit.

We teamed up with our friends at Monkish to bring you this Foggy On The Details, a foggy DDH pale ale brewed with a large portion of Admiral Clipper Oats and Admiral Pils malt, then hopped liberally with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Centennial, and Galaxy for intensely juicy tropical, stone, and citrus fruit flavors.
