In celebration of the 9th anniversary of The Propagator, we present Gen-9, a modern West Coast DIPA featuring the new HQG 4 experimental hop, along with the classic Mosaic and Citra profile of our original Gen-1 IPA. Bursting with hop flavors of guava, peach, blueberry and a nice dank edge, it is the culmination of everything we’ve learned in our 9th year of brewing experimental beers in Venice Beach.

Brewed for our 9th Anniversary at our Venice Propagator.

Gen-9 is brewed with a blend of Admiral and Rahr pilsner malts, as well as a small portion of flaked rice, to keep the color as pale as possible.
We used the US-05 American ale yeast for a clean and dry profile, which is a strain we adopted for Electric Eagle IPA in the past year.
