Meet Sunglider, our new golden lager brewed to celebrate Earth Day the Firestone Walker way… bold, clean, and rooted in the land we call home.
Crisp, floral, and endlessly refreshing, Sunglider is a Helles-style lager that honors both flavor and sustainability with every sip.

This one’s all about staying local. We brewed Sunglider with Atlas malt, a historic six-row barley grown just down the road in Paso Robles by multigenerational farmer Ben Work. The grain is floor-malted by Admiral Maltings in Alameda, preserving old-school methods and minimizing environmental impact. For hops, we looked to Oregon’s Goschie Farms, where Willamette and Hallertau Tradition hops bring in those fresh grassy and floral notes you crave in a classic lager.

At 5.0% ABV and a clean, straw-yellow pour, Sunglider hits that sweet spot: light-bodied with notes of wildflower honey, water cracker, and a crisp, drying finish that keeps you coming back. As our Brewmaster so eloquently put it, it’s beer flavored beer, and a modern nod to tradition crafted with care, brewed with purpose, and built for sunny days.
Sunglider isn’t just a beer, however. It’s a toast to the land, the farmers, and the ingredients that make it all possible. So whether you’re raising a glass on Earth Day or just looking for something crushable to kick off the season, Sunglider’s got your back.
Available on draft at all our locations now and in cans soon. Come on by our Paso Robles, Venice Beach, or Buellton taprooms and enjoy a glass today.
