We are always proud to partner and support our locals, which is why we are happy to announce our partnership with Dylan Efron for a new five-part adventure series. Introducing Flow State.
In the series, Efron takes athletes and celebrities on adventures through southern California. He aims to push them outside of their comfort zones while getting to know more about his guests and what drives their passion.
Efron grew up in Arroyo Grande, CA, 45 minutes south of our main brewing facility in Paso Robles, watching his dad drink Firestone and later would share a DBA with his college buddies at Cal Poly SLO.
After graduating, he worked at Warner Bros working on movies such as “American Sniper” and “A Star Is Born.” Dylan now produces and creates his own content following his adrenaline-packed adventures. He’s a two-time Ironman and sub-3 hour Boston Marathon Finisher. In 2017 he earned Ironman All-World-Athlete status finishing in the top one percent of his age group.
Efron is driven by curiosity and strives to surround himself with people and the outdoors.
He says that “the art of exploring enables me to discover the ins and outs of my friends and colleagues. The template for this show will allow the audience to get an immersive experience into the minds of today’s top athletes, artists, and influencers.”
Flow State is an optimal state of consciousness where we feel and perform our best while being completely immersed in an activity.
In the first episode of Flow State, Efron takes five-time X Games, gold medalist, Leticia Bufoni climbing just outside of Los Angeles. He is a frequent climber and well versed in the sport, but Bufoni, who has a fear of heights, has never climbed.
They spend the day with local climbers top-roping and bouldering at a Malibu climbing hot spot, facing her fear of heights, and even hit a skate park on the way to rock.
