If you’ve been following us, or just enjoying our beers, chances are you’ve cracked into our West Coast IPA Mixed Pack.

Each mixed pack is loaded with some left-coast delicacies, featuring Luponic Distortion IPAHopnosis IPAUnion Jack IPA, and the Firestone California IPA. It’s easy to see why it’s been a regular, top-shelf fridge staple around here since we initially released it.

Turns out we’re not the only ones loving these IPAs, however. Hop Culture recently dug into one of our mixed packs, and they came out from it all a few bottles and cans lighter and calming that, “When Firestone Walker released its newest West Coast IPA mixed pack earlier this year, they did something they never had before: capturing the full arc of their IPA brewing experience in one package.”

We’ll let Hop Culture do most of the talking here, but enjoy a few pull quotes below as a primer. And if you want to learn more about our IPA Mixed Pack, you can keep on scrolling below, read our breakdown on each delicious IPA, or find a case near you to enjoy first-hand.

“It’s a bit of a first,” Firestone Walker Brewmaster Matt Brynildson told us. “It’s certainly my favorite mix pack we’ve done in a while.”

“It’s just like we didn’t make IPA for ten years until Union Jack; we didn’t use Citra and Mosaic for ten years until this beer,” laughs Brynildson. “In the end, we’re trying to make a beer that fits in with what’s happening with IPA on the West Coast now.”

“You can taste the whole progression yourself,” says Brynildson. “That’s the line that runs through all these beers.”
